Troy é um veterano ativo da polícia norte-americana com 20 anos de experiência, sendo 18 anos nas mais variadas unidades táticas existentes. Ele trabalha, no momento, como Instrutor em tempo integral de uma grande agência policial. Também, serve como Team Leader para o maior time SWAT de ação multi-jurisdicional em Oklahoma.
Como um competitor disciplinado, Troy atingiu o rank de Master em PPC, IDPA e USPSA (IPSC). Após vencer diversos títulos estaduais e nacionais, Troy deixou as competições de lado para focar e desenvolver suas habilidades como instrutor. Troy detém as certificações como Instrutor em Pistolas, Revólveres, Fuzis/Carabinas, Fuzis de Precisão (Sniper) e Espingardas. Também é Instrutor certificado em Artefatos de Impacto, Artefatos de Distração, Munições Químicas, Taser, Bastão ASP e Bastão Monadnock. Também é Instrutor de Defensive Tactics (defesa pessoal para Polícia).
Troy, também, treina Jiu-Jitsu com a lenda Royce Gracie. Ele ensina em um pequeno clube de Jiu-Jitsu que mantém em sua casa.

Troy Fullbright is a 20-year Law Enforcement Veteran, with 18 of this e years serving on various Tactical Units. His current assignment is as a full-time Instructor for a large metropolitan Police Agency. Troy also serves as a Team Leader for the largest multi-jurisdictional SWAT team in Oklahoma.
Once an avid competitor, Troy achieved the ranks of Master in PPC, IDPA, and USPSA. Having won several state and national titles, Troy put competition behind him to further develop and focus on his teaching ability. Troy holds Instructor Certifications in Autoloading Pistol, Revolver, Patrol Rifle, Long Range Rifle, and Shotgun. He also holds Instructor Certifications in Impact Devices, Distraction Devices, Chemical Munitions, Taser, ASP Baton, and Monadnock batons. He is also a Defensive Tactics Instructor.
Troy also trains in JiuJitsu under Royce Gracie. He also runs a small JiuJitsu club in his house.
Troy describes himself as 'I'm just a guy who gets to teach people to drive, shoot, and fight'.
